Fight Over Cell Phone In Darien Leads To Weston Teen's Arrest, Police Say

A Fairfield County teen was charged with alleged breach of peace after getting into a fight over a cell phone.

Annabelle Capola, age 19, of Weston, turned herself in to Darien Police on Monday, Jan. 15 for the Wednesday, Jan. 3 incident.

According to Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police, the victim reported that they had gotten into a "physical altercation" with Capola regarding a cell phone in the parking lot of the Darien Library.

After viewing surveillance video, officers determined there was probable cause for an arrest and a warrant was issued with a court-set bond of $5,000, Skoumbros said.  

After turning herself in, Capola was processed and released on seven percent of her bond.
